IC 443 - The Jellyfish Nebula (Narrowbands: Ha, SII, O-III)
Back
This is the Sigma combined SII exposures (30 minutes binned 2x2). It is clear that the majority of this wavelength (674nm - 14nm bandpass) is from the edge of the shockwave, although there is a faint background of SII as well.
This is the Sigma combined O-III exposures (50 minutes binned 2x2).There is very little of this wavelength (501 nm - 15 nm bandpass) visible in the main nebula, but more in the adjacent molecular cloud than the SII.
The strongest signal by far comes from the Hydrogen Alpha emmission line (656 nm - 13nm bandpass). This is 90 minutes sigma combined (unbinned).
